Greats

In Connecticut this weekend, we saw the kids' Great Uncles Frank and Bill, Great Aunts Ellenjane and Patt, and cousins Liz and Kelly.

Here are the kids with their Grandpa Ray's brother and sister (Frank and Patt).

Rainier

We spent a day with the Coffees in Rainier, Washington.

Silas took a long turn driving the tractor around the farm.

Of course, Rosemary had to take a spin too.

Trip to Washington

We spent Christmas in Olympia -- Rosemary's first visit to Washington State (home of Sasquatch, at left).

The kids saw many cousins, only a few of whom are pictured below: Colby, Cassidy, and Parks.

We also marked great-grandmother Bernice's 95th birthday. She was given a celebratory hoist in her Christmas chair.

Happy New Year!

Rosemary has mainly been interested in cars, trucks, and building with legos (i.e., Silas's stuff).

Recently Rosemary has added a new interest: babies.

This morning, appropriately for the New Year, Rosemary carted a baby around.

Rosemary did not want the baby to be cold. Stuffing it in her jacket, she would not have been out of place at a Coney Island sideshow.

P.S.  Silas tells us that his New Year's Resolution is to become a race car driver.
