First stop: Greenwich, to see friends Alex and Kristin and their kids. We like to tell them that their house is our country house.

The next day found us in Guilford, where we celebrated Frank and Ellen's fiftieth anniversary.
Uncle Pete and Aunt Theresa came too, all the way from California -- it was their first time meeting Rosemary.
